Undeveloped King County park of about 100 acres on the south side of the Green River, accessed via SE 384th St and 188th Ave SE about 5 miles E of Auburn. The park includes a half-mile stretch of the Green River, fields and cottonwood forest along the river and mixed hardwood forest with patches of fir and cedar on the quarter-mile wide slope along the south side of the Green River Valley. The area along the river was a farm several decades ago but since then the fields have shrunk considerably as the river has continued to erode its south bank through the park. Across the river from O'Grady Park is a somewhat narrower strip of riparian cottonwood forest preserved in another King County natural area. Overcast, mid-50's. Ran down to the river, then back via the new trail which loops around to the west through the woods. Distance excludes overlapping segments.
